Meet Aleeah Smith, a first-generation franchise owner, wife, and mother of four. She is the youngest black woman to own not just one but two franchises of The Peach Cobbler Factory, at only 26 years old. Aleeah purchased her first restaurant franchise in 2022; it is in Dalton, Georgia, and her second restaurant will open in Fayetteville, Georgia, in the fall of 2023.
The Peach Cobbler Factory is a well-known dessert restaurant on the South and East Coast. It is well-known for its exquisite choices of milkshakes, cinnamon buns, and cookies, as well as its 12 types of quality cobblers, 12 flavors of banana pudding, and 12 flavors of milk.
Since she was 14 years old, Aleeah has had a penchant for entrepreneurship. She used to own and operate a dessert catering company for neighborhood parties. She grew up on the south side of Lansing, Michigan. She operated the firm until 25, serving customers in Georgia and Michigan. She proceeded with her business pursuits despite deciding to get married and have kids. She even took a few classes at Michigan State University in business management.
In 2022, when the chance to buy a franchise of The Peach Cobbler Factory presented itself, Aleeah jumped at it. She was also already able to support herself financially by opening her eateries. This required funding the build-outs, paying the franchise fees, and purchasing the necessary goods and equipment. By year’s end, her first store will have generated six figures in income thanks to a 34% rise in sales. She anticipates earning millions of dollars every year in the long run.
Uber Eats, GrubHub, and DoorDash are all available for late-night deliveries at Aleeah’s locations. Additionally, her restaurants provide fine catering for business and private occasions like parties and graduations.
