Designer Anthony Vaccarello for Saint Laurent put out an upgraded offering of khaki bustier jumpsuits and cargo pants for his spring collection, fusing them with a beautiful lineup of sheer tops, t-backed minidresses, and ruffled chiffon that floated down the catwalk.
The Kering-owned PRTP.PA label moved its location for the evening runway show to the left bank of the Seine River, offering a new view of the Eiffel Tower from the opposite side of its usual location. The audience was seated in a stark setting with marble walls beneath the rotating light beams of the famous monument.
Models walked up a wide staircase in towering sling-back heels to the spacious area, wearing pencil skirts and wide-legged pants nicely nipped at the waist and paired with open-backed bodysuits and silk shirts.
The outfits, which generally featured autumnal tones of beige, olive, purple, and rusty brown, were finished off with sunglasses, aviator caps, and natural leather belts.
The event marked the end of the second day of Paris Fashion Week, which has attracted fashion enthusiasts and admirers of famous people to the French city.
Numerous upscale brands, including Hermes, Chanel, and Louis Vuitton, will be included in the catwalk displays, which will run until October 3.
