The Lithuanian AI firm AskToSell raised €100K in a pre-seed round headed by Wise Guys and Specialist VC.
The cash will be used to deploy a sales automation solution for SMBs.
The previous business that Laimonas Noreika and Karolis Janukas, co-founders of AskToSell, founded was ZITICITY, in which Venture Wise Guys invested.
Startup Wise Guys Global CEO Cristobal Alonso says, “Seeing their grit and teamwork, we were sure we’d invest in any new venture they built.”
We are the first believers again. He says that AskToSell is tackling a big problem and is poised to develop significantly in SMB sales automation.
ZITICITY was the driving force behind the development of AskToSell. While expanding ZITICITY, Noreika, and Januškas found that SMBs need to close more deals to meet operational costs due to reduced deal volumes.
Salespeople can burn out as deal volumes rise. Customer acquisition expenses rise dramatically, hurting unit economics. This issue leads to financial trouble and business closure.
Automating routine activities
AskToSell lets companies utilize AI to promote items, contact leads, handle objections, and close deals.
“Sales reps hate repetitive tasks and copy-paste transactional sales, so implementing AskToSell will give you a lot of fans in the company and allow reps to focus on bigger deals,” adds Noreika.
The company says its software has “superhuman-like performance” that cuts customer acquisition costs 10–30 times. It maintains business unit economics.
Automated agents also tackle typical sales problems like missed lead follow-up and activity targets. If scaling is needed, companies might skip difficult sales rep recruitment.
RequestToSell claims users may activate its platform in minutes. Customers define products, upload leads, and assign automatic agents. AI agents automatically process offers after sales reps accept them.
Small Businesses Scale Quickly.
Around 99% of Europe’s economy is made up of SMBs. These firms employed over 100 million people and supported half of Europe’s GDP.
The EU fosters the SME transition to a digital and sustainable economy. Only 30% of micro-enterprises took steps of digitalization, including automation, last year. Smaller companies are less competitive than larger ones.
AI technology’s perceived cost deters European SMBs from automating business activities. Therefore, many organizations need economical sales automation solutions.
Automating and personalizing sales procedures accelerates revenue growth, according to AskToSell.
Sales automation helps the organization focus on product development and customer service while assuring profitability. They can innovate and retain customers.
